TIFNY opens up to 6 news server connections simultaneously using multiple connections to a single server or to multiple servers. It downloads all file types and supports downloading in UUencode, Base64, and yEnc formats. And it handles large and cumbersome, multi-segment music and video files. TIFNY checks multi-part files for completeness and automatically downloads, combines, and catalogs them for you.
